A lovely email recieved from Michael & Jeanette White

www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk received a lovely email yesterday from Michael & Jeanette White whose wedding I photographed on 16th July 2011, it read.

"We would both like to thank you for the wonderful job that you did with the photographs and also for making our day special, and one we will remember for the rest of our lives.
We hope that you do not mind but we will be telling other friends of what a great job you did and hopefully they will also use your service.
With Kind Regards
Micheal & Jeanette."

I love it when emails or letters of this nature come through to me, as it is shows that I have managed to capture their day & make it just that little bit more special.

Richard & Louise preview book finished

I have had a very busy week so far, editing all the photos from Richard & Louise Lavenders wedding on Friday 5th August, I have just delivered the preview book to the printers to be made, so very soon they will both be able to view all the stunning pictures from their big day. There will probably be quite a few that they don't remember been taken as the whirlwind of the day carried them along, this is what I am quite often told once the photos have been viewed. Once again http://www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk/ wish to thank them for choosing us to work with them on the special day.

Tomorrow, its the start of working through Daniel & Charlotte's photos from Saturday 6th August, with editing & designing another preview book all in front of me.
On another note the new website should all go live early next week, so all good.

Thanks

Glyn

New website now just days away!!

Well as I type this I am hoping that this isn't going to jinx the launch of my site yet again! I have seen the preview of the new site for http://www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk/ & must admit is is superb, just how I asked for it to be designed, it is now just having the final tweaks altered & I am reliably informed that it should be live within a few days. It has definitely been a long time coming, but I am sure the wait will be worth it in the long run.

Once live I will be updating on a regular basis with lots of new photos from our more recent events that we have had the pleasure of covering, from surprise birthday parties, model portfolio shoots & of course the weddings that we have covered. I am sorry it seems so long since I started talking about this new site, but the delays have been in the building process, so sadly beyond my control.

Please check back soon to see the new site, & of course we can be contacted anytime in all the usual ways while the switch over takes place, there should not be any down time during the change over onto the new site.

Thanks for your patience

Glyn

The weather held for Mr & Mrs Morris

Yesterday http://www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk/ had the pleasure of working with the lovely couple Daniel & Charlotte on their wedding day at St Augustines Church in Rugeley. We arrived at the brides parents home to get some cheeky shots of her getting ready in her dress, only to find her dad was in fact born in Scotland & so was wearing the family tartan. He looked amazing in the full kilt outfit ready to give his daughter away.

The wedding party travelled to the church in style, in an amazing 32ft stretch hummer limo. The church service went of very well with a lovely vicar who allowed me to take photos throughout the whole service from various positions around the church & overhead balcony, which she unlocked specially for us to use. This allowed me to take some beautiful photos off the service for them to treasure, from unusual angles, not normally allowed in church.

We then all travelled to Rugeley Power Station where the reception was held in their sports & social club. Here we managed to get plenty more images of the couple & families by the lake & fountain, with the rain holding off until about 3 minutes after taking our last photo.

http://www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk/ would like to thank Daniel & Charlotte for choosing us to work with them on their important day.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Lavender!

We would like to say congratulations to Richard & Louise Lavender on their wedding day yesterday. Richard & Louise chose http://www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk/ to be their official photographers on their big day. We arrived at St Lukes Church in Cannock town centre to catch Richard (the groom) with his father & best men before the big arrival of Louise. Richard was quite nervous, but extremely happy.

Louise arrived in style in a brand new Mercedes sporting Aston Villa blue ribbons, looking stunning in her dress. We had time to pose her with her father & bridesmaids before the ceremony & then she entered the church to meet at the alter with Richard.

After the service we used St Lukes gardens for the official photography & then took the couple over to another corner of the gardens to photograph some beautiful poses of the lovely couple.

The party then headed on to The Barns in Huntington for a casino themed reception. In keeping with the grooms passion the wedding cake had an Aston Villa theme. After the casino theme closed the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband & wife.

We would like to again thank them for choosing http://www.glyntjonesphotography.co.uk/ to capture their special day for them.
